And if I do
CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(DUMMY) UID(2448)
which is the UID of a coworker active on this list, I get a 'not
authorized' message because he doesn't have access.
But if I do
CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(DUMMY) UID(172)
which is the uid of a payroll clerk they get right in.
So, in a multi lpar shop, using NFS mounts (or other serious IFS tools) it
pays to keep their UID's in sync before you stumble into a security block,
or worse, a security hole.
I've submitted a project for a short term corrective action to fix the
security block.
I've submitted a project for a long term corrective action to fix the
security hole.
