The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I have three files in a library that I am testing with.
TESTSQL - Created via a CREATE TABLE.
TESTDDS - Created via DDS.
TESTPF - Created via CRTPF specifying a record length instead of DDS.
When I query syspartitionstat, I only see TESTSQL and TESTDDS. Why
am I not seeing TESTPF?
We are running 6.1 if that makes a difference.
The fact that SYSPSTAT aka SystemPartitionStat is a VIEW, rather than
a TABLE, is telling. In review of the SYSPSTAT View Definition, will be
found the answer; most likely, there is selection in a WHERE-clause that
precludes non-relational files, per the predicate DBXREL='Y'.
Similarly, any files in QTEMP are also not included, but because they
are not in the Database Cross Reference (DBXREF) [effective catalog]
file being referenced in the query of that VIEW, rather than by omission
of data that could potentially be generated. The UDTF
[QSYS2.PARTITION_STATISTICS] that performs the dynamic retrieval of the
list of /members/ in the files [irrespective that relational test], can
be invoked in less restrictive ways, for which the QTEMP and
non-relational attributes would not be an issue.
