I have seen it used and although I don't actually use it myself, it seems
to work well enough on the i.

The customer I know that uses it seems pretty happy with it and they have a
number of different platforms (i/linux/Windows).

The use case for this and similar products IMO is for Cross Platform
scheduling where you want to co-ordinate tasks across multiple
platforms/servers/OS's.

If you don't need to do that - i.e. everything runs on the i - then you
will wind up with an over engineered and very expensive job management
console.
