RE: Convert COBOL record layout specs to DDL or PF specs?

If you have to convert COBOL to RPG you might as well convert it to DDL.

Sometimes I find that if I stop thinking about something and just plug
through it I find it less painful.
I think I could do each column in under a minute and that's probably less
time than it would to search and evaluate google alternatives.
And a hell of of lot less time than getting an expense approved.
(although I was quite impressed with the lack of effort it took to get one
approval last week. Heck we had it installed and a permanent key lickity
split.)
