Rob, you can change your Domino servers to use any supported version of
Java. You're not bound to Java 6...even now. Domino on IBM i doesn't ship
with its own Java 6 JVM...it just requires that Java be installed...but
not necessarily Java 6. The system requirements technote is misleading.

Change via notes.ini parameter JAVA_HOME. For example,

JAVA_HOME=/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk80/64bit
