So you're saying it does not leave the box?

If that's true then you must NOT use IP addresses that are in any IP networks outside the box or you risk routing issues.

Secondly if this is HA traffic and it's inside the same box, um, that doesn't exactly hit the mark for HA. Just sayin.....
