Alan,

So if a user from job DSP01 runs
CREATE TABLE QTEMP.SPOOL...
and a user from job DSP02 run
CREATE TABLE QTEMP.SPOOL...
Then how would both of these appear on the system catalog? "spoofed" with
different owners? Nope.

CREATE TABLE QTEMP.SPOOL (TEXTDATA CHAR (50 ) NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT)
Table SPOOL created in QTEMP.
SELECT COUNT(*)
FROM qsys2.systables WHERE SYSTEM_TABLE_SCHEMA ='QTEMP'
returns 0

declare global temporary table mylist as (select * from erplxf.rco)
with data

SELECT COUNT(*)
FROM qsys2.systables WHERE SYSTEM_TABLE_SCHEMA ='QTEMP'
still returns 0

No. This isn't it. However, there is something tickling the back of my
mind...

Did some reading and apparently SESSION is a reserved word for a schema.
Like this:
select * from session.mylist
is equal to
select * from qtemp.mylist
