Hi all,

we want to install several Power6 E4A boxes using network install as described in

http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redpapers/pdfs/redp4937.pdf

We tried every possible network adapter (4 internal LHEA, one 2838 in expansion box 0595) - no chance. The TFTP server does not see any activity, the client IP address set as on page 6 does not respone to a PING.

When we install LIC from DVD and try to do the rest from Network, at least the STS adapter will answer to a PING, but still - no TFTP activity. Asks to insert next DVD media :(

I remember we managed to do so some months ago using the same hardware setup and same process - cannot imagine any difference.

Disclaimer:
- yes, cables plugged :)
- prerequisites met (at least as they are stated in the redbook)

Thanks for any hint (i assume it is some small tick)
