I think you hit the nail on the head.
Our R&D user is 10 characters, needs to be shortened to 8.

I remember this from a previous issue.

Current] User initiating the request [in place of "The_User"]; I would
guess the value is probably 356:

?CHGUSRPRF The_User ??UID()
