Re: changing java version from 1.6 to 1.7 or 1.8

i do set my JAVA_HOME via application using addenvvar, and was able to set tomcat using export.

when i type java *version, it defaults to 1.6 even though i have versions 1.4 to 1.8.

Do you know why it defaults to 1.6?
