1 - Do you have XW1 downloaded and installed? If not, do so. You do have
that 70 day try and buy.
2 - Are you talking about 5250, or some of the other applications which
check host licensing, like file transfer?
3 - If you're talking 5250 can you figure out a workaround like:
3a - Pointing to another lpar that, after they signon, gets them back to
this lpar via telnet or some such thing
3b - Using the 5250 emulator supplied with the web navigator

3c - DOS telnet. Ugly but a possibility for the short term
3d - An alternative 5250 emulator which doesn't check the host licensing.
