These goofy field names (K1, F1) rather remind me of S/36 files. Normally
they are internally defined, but if you had an index built right into the
table that column would be K1. If it was at the beginning you would have
K1, F1. If it was in the middle you might have F1, K1, F2. On the S/36
the keys had to be contiguous.
