The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Indeed, and all you really need to print hard copy AFPDS documents is a laser printer with host print transform turned on (TRANSFORM(*ON) MFRTYPEMDL(choose appropriately)) in the printer description. This link will help choose the appropriate MFRTYPEMDL:

That said, conversion to PDF is likely to be ***LESS BAD*** than other

Except in cases when a PDF, rather than a document printed on a physical
AFPDS printer, is the intended product.
In that case, good or bad, it is what it is, and previewing a PDF
generator by actually generating PDFs will give you the same 100%
fidelity that previewing AFPDS printed output on the specific model of
AFPDS printer you intend to use for final output gives you.
