Message CPA0700 is not in QCPFMSG. Maybe it was an an earlier
release?

The XXX##00 format of the Reply List entry represents a /generic/ specification rather than a specific message, indicating that all messages with the prefix XXX and the first two digits ## will be selected as a match; e.g. for CPA0700, that suggests any message with prefix CPA and the first two digits 07 are represented as capable of being intercepted for reply list inquiry handling (INQMSGRPY).

In any event, I can't see why the tape change does not work. It is
very discouraging.

Seems probable the missing PTF as preventive for a High-Impact-Pervasive issue could be the reason; a timing issue leading to unpredictable results, thus the HIPer designation.?
