The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

the "display_check_pccmd" subroutine starts at line 3678.
I was able to implement a rudimentary STRPCCMD handler in our emulator.
I was somewhat surprised by the fact that (since each Java
"Runtime.getRuntime().exec()" exists in its own process, effectively in
a vacuum) each STRPCCMD ran in whatever was the current directory, and
shelling out a CD command therefore had no effect on future STRPCCMD calls.
I was even more surprised to find that the only IBM-supplied emulator on
hand (the one built into LAN Console) behaves exactly the same way, and
I therefore don't need to do anything with at least that part of the
situation.
