So I downloaded it. Can't load it. Why not? Because it's not for
Python! It's for option 1, not option 2!
Message . . . . : PTF 5733OPS-SI55499 V1R1M0 not loaded.
Cause . . . . . : The specified PTF is for library *N or option 0001
load
5050 that is not installed.
Recovery . . . : Remove PTF 5733OPS-SI55499 V1R1M0 from the select
(SELECT)
parameter. Then try the request again.
As I look at this more I think the "how to obtain" website hasn't been
updated for the Python option (aka "Option 2"). It was written when
Option 1 (whatever that is) was the only option (other than *BASE).
I may retry this installation on our "test" lpar so that I can IPL the
snot out of it to get PTF's updated. If that does it, then I'll IPL our
"development" lpar.
