Re: Has anyone managed to install IBM i Access for Windows 7.1 on Win10 technical preview?

It's a microsoft Security update, but it's not really for the OS.

It's for a library that applications built with Visual Studio 2005 and
include the redistributable library.

I don't find any information that Win8 or Win10 ship with the (updated)
redistributable library built in.

I loaded it on my Win 8.1 machine.

it is a Microsoft security update for which neither Win8.1 nor Win10 needs.
