Re: iSeries and Unix handshaking

Not used it for this purpose but Scott Klement’s UNIXCMD (http://www.scottklement.com/unixcmd/) might be useful here - at least to take care of some of the plumbing. It is designed for PASE/QSH connections but from there you could initiate the job etc.

On the other hand can’t you just do this by initiating the jobs via a direct FTP link? In which case FTPAPI may be what you need (http://www.scottklement.com/ftpapi/).

There might be programs in between these steps to load or unload a file,
etc. but these are the critical pieces.
