The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
One thing to add, James.
If you're selling and supporting software, you need to keep a system or LPAR
at the most current versions of what IBM has out there, and test that your
code won't break if a customer has a policy of keeping current.
You don't want to fall into the trap of telling your customers they can't
stay current just because you aren't. A case in point - these guys
http://www.computerguidance.com/
have told some of their customers that they've been too busy with year end
stuff to keep up with IBM.
Perhaps if their year end code could use the LODRUN command from an image
catalog, they wouldn't be so "busy".
