The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

At first I tended to agree with some that email seems a poor choice for
this when the industry seems to lean more towards posting to secure
websites, ftp sites, etc.
Then again, email is kind of like EDI. Neither side has to be "up". One
sends the transaction to their ISP. That ISP passes it off to the
recipients ISP. The recipients email system retrieves the email. If any
system is down for an not indefinite interval then it will stack up until
the transaction processes through. Much like the background "fire and
forget" of snads versus many TCP/IP alternatives.
Granted, "up" time is pretty much demanded nowadays. However there are
still a lot of IBM i shops out there with a single machine running their
FTP and web sites. And while these machines are a tank you do still have
downtime for PTF's, OS upgrades, etc.
