Re: PTF 5770TC1-SI54738 and QSECOFR *USE

After I received a few emails from customers with issues with email after
applying the latest CUME I recently sent out an email to all my MAILTOOL
users mentioning this as well linking them to a description and fix I set
up for them:

Apparently there are more than one issues that happen, and it isn't always
the error described in the posting above.

I also had one customer on V7R1 who applied the fix and DIDNT have any
problems (and was using the base MAILTOOL product which uses QtmmSendMail,
and not MAILTOOL Plus which bypasses it).

Go figure. :)

Then, WRKLNK '/tmp', use option 8 and ensure that
Restricted rename and unlink . . . . . : No
If yes, use 13=Change attribute to change it to No.
If that doesn't sound familiar, search the archives. I thought IBM was
thru changing this at every IPL to suit their whim.
