Gary - methinks you are a bit confused.
QNTC is the IBM file system which allows you access to Windows file shares
from the AS/400-iSeries-IBM i system. FTP requires that an FTP server be
running on the target system, so you cannot FTP files to 'QNTC' - you FTP
files to a system running an FTP Server.
However, you CAN use CPYTOSTMF, CPYTOIMPF or CPY to directly copy IBM i
files to a QNTC share...
