The DATE question is for a specific issue that I am looking at, and it is
not worth the hassle with the customer to persuade them that the iDate
software is totally safe. Their vetting process can take weeks and I do
not have that time.

All,
V6R1 system.
Using SQL, how do I convert a numeric value of a database field in ISO date
format (ccyymmdd) to a DATE data type for comparison?
I need to select all records with a date that is equal to a value input by
the user.
