The system will allow you to do normal administrative tasks, to a point, so in your example you could do that. It's like some of the governors they put on the systems awhile back for 5250 except for DB/2. Administration OK, normal workload, not so much.

The answer is yes this fits your environment where you have workloads separated out quite nicely.

I would want to compare this offering to an 720 four way at a P05 to see which is more cost effective ( unless you need more memory than the limits on that system ). In that case sizing could be critical to get right.
