Wow, that's why i read this list. There is always someone more up to date
than me!
Any Blade? or just POWER7 blades? I have a js21 laying around and might
have to ask for a JS22 and PS700 (just entered maintenance with us, so i
gotta have 1 of each, right?)

Not so fast! You CAN Hook a blade to an HMC now with 7.7.6 or newer HMC

Rob beat me to it. But yes, ALL power5 and up machines (except Blades, ofsituation
course) can be connected to an HMC. You MIGHT have a not optimal
if the HMC is at 7.7.x but it's not Unsupported, just not optimal (Power5http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/powersys/v3r1m5/topic/iphah_p5/e520.htm
only HMC's should stay at 7.3.5.xx IIRC).

You might want to read the topic "Cabling a model 9406-520, 9406-525, or

I am back with another question about a 9406 520
It is 9406 520 Feature code 7734. We were told that an HMC cannot hook
listto
this system.
Is that statement true?
If it can be is there anything special that has to be done?
Thanks
