I also just use the FTP process, although we order anything new every
two weeks so we always have the latest available in case customers need
it. It also has the effect of cutting down the size of the download
into smaller more manageable chunks.

that several groups include other groups for example the HTTP group
includes the JAVA group so no need to order them both. I do ALWAYS
include all requisites and all PTFs because I can't assume any customer
would be at any minimum level.
Personally I download them with FTP scripts to Frankie and haven't
a real problem with that in years. Send and forget. OK except for allFix
the times that Fix Central is down for maintenance, MAN they do a lot of
maintenance!
