We've have several problems with FTP under 7.1. First our FTP process to our EDI VAN broke. We had to create a TCP/IP Route with a smaller "Maximum Transmission Unit" value. Then the PTF download process to Vision broke when we applied CumE C2115710 (April 24, 2012). We had to apply PTF SI47089 from IBM to fix that one.

Subject: FTP witn V7R1 Problem

I recently went from V5R4 to V7R1 and am now having FTP problems. This vendor is telling me that he is seeing 4 extra commands being sent that were not under V5R4. Has anyone else experienced this?

TIA, Jon
