I'm still learning iSeries things, but this seems to me a nice project to
learn how things work.

I will probably try it sunday (to script this).

(Thank you for giving me an idea to make something new, I'm still a student
who's learning OS/400, and I think it's quite interesting, but the amount
of knowledge they have on school was really, really small)

Vriendelijke groet,
Sincerely,

Any chance the operator could get a 2nd screen on the PC? Then a 2nd 5250
session could be the main event on that screen, with the message queue in
break mode...

And if not in break mode I heartily support the use of "Basic" mode for
messages! If the message requires action it should NOT be allowed to hide!

What about a timer function that >DING!<s every 15 minutes to remind the
operator to check messages? Have some napkins available in case there's a
Pavlovian response!

Is there a way for i Access to take Windows focus when a break message is
sent to a 5250 session?

If the 5250 session could take focus and come front & center when a break
message arrives, that would definitely fill the bill. Can that be done?
