I have a requirement where I need to create file names on the IFS named
like
this:
{7B56C5B9-BA9D-4E24-A77F-5369CE05BA09}.txt
We were told they are named using a guid.
I found some code in the archives to call the GENUUID and return the data
structure.
D UUID_T DS ALIGN
D BytesProv 10U 0 inz(32)
D BytesAvail 10U 0 inz(0)
D Reserved 8 inz(*allx'00')
D UUID 16 inz(*allx'00')
During debug, the UUID value contains different characters. How do I
convert the returned UUID into something readable?
Thanks, Jack
