B+ does fine for the older batteries (Really old 2740, 2741, 2726 etc - NiCd and Quite old 4778, 2763 etc NiMH) but for the newer ones that have Li-ION chemistry you are pretty stuck. Given that Lithium will burst into flames in the presence of plain old air almost nobody will mess with them. They have been telling me for years "We're getting qualified on Li-ION batteries" but won't give me a date and it hasn't happened.

Also be aware that you can no longer ship Li-ION batteries of any kind on airplanes including in checked luggage. You can however carry them on your person and hold then in your lap or up to your head because apparently they are safe there. :-)
