The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
We're still languishing on V5R1. The system did *not* automatically change
the time during the last change. V5R1 does not have a QTIMZON system value,
but it does have the QUTCOFFSET value which is correctly set (for Central
Time - US) to -06:00.
I vaguely remember, when V5R1 was still new having this same issue (no
automatic time change). It wasn't until we went to, I think, V5R3 (maybe
R4) that the automatic change took effect.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

Subject: RE: Annual Time Change Question
Since a few releases back the system has automatically done this. You
have to select the right time zone for QTIMZON system value.
Depending on the time zone description in use, the i5/OSR operating system
can automatically adjust the local system time to observe daylight saving
time (DST).
Basically you pick a value from WRKTIMZON to stick in the system value
QTIMZON. Want to know more? RTM.

You can drop that down to 6.1 by changing a couple of characters in that
url.
