OK - I'll let him know - if he hasn't figured it out already. About changing the handler, that is.

Take care

He may have taken the fact that the default container for a new Rich UI

It of course is not. Many people like it, I personally don't. Thus in
most cases the first thing I do is replace the GridLayout with a Div.
Takes a few keystrokes.

I suppose it would be nice to be to able to choose from a selection of
default initial containers when creating a new handler. I think I'll
put in an RFE for that.

Sounds good - the issue of tables for non-table layout comes from my
colleague - he did try it out, in the open-source version just announced
and released.

But he is interested enough to look at it some more.

And that's all I know for sure - at least about this!

Later, and Happiest Holidays to you and yours!

I don't even understand this statement, Vern, so I can't address it. Of
all the things you're complaining about, do you know that EGL does ANY
of them? (Hint: It does not.) Or are you just relating your own
experiences with bad HTML and assuming EGL does it that way? Really,
you might want to actually use the product and then let us know what you
don't like about it. The EGL team is always looking for solid input.
