I'm trying to get used to running Operations Console on my V7.1 machine.
I'm used to a twinax terminal so there's a bit of a learning curve.
Here's my problem:
Whenever I IPL the machine, the Operations Console doesn't re-connect
automatically; I end up having to delete the connection and have it
discover it again. It will then connect and present the Service Tools
signon. This then will sometimes present the second problem, which is
whenever I signon it returns an error code 702 "Communications Error
validating the connection". Service Tools User id doesn't make a
difference. And then it will suddenly work after numerous tries at
signing on.
Any ideas?
