Good News Everybody!

The new search engine is LIVE!

Please report any problems to david (at) midrange.com.

What you could do is put them up on Vimeo or another embedable service
that you could put the embedded video behind a paywall. That offloads the
bandwidth and storage to their service and gives you a great streaming
experience. You could then hold a live chat session at any time and just
direct the participants to this video to watch as they chat.

Re: Remote Access to IBM i Conferences (was IBM i DevCon)

What would be the difference between this and the webcasts already
offered by both System iNetwork and COMMON? (There are probably others
offering these as well.)

As a speaker, I have been involved in many of these. Either they are
live streamed, and there's a chat for Q&A... or they are prerecorded,
and I sit in chat purely to answer questions while the recording plays.

Isn't this what you're asking for? Or do you have further refinements?

What about streaming a recording? If the fee was reasonable I'd pay to
see them.

If you waited a period of time after the session, you might be able to
get the speakers to do a live chat session while streaming the
recording, that way you wouldn't completely lose the 'give and take'.
