I can fully understand not getting the handouts if you don't attend the conference. I would pay a fee to just get access to the presentations. I only get to go to a conference about once every three years (schools budget constraints and this year my budget is $0).

Would you support paying an additional fee to enable you to access the handouts?

Currently I don't think the agreement that speakers agree to allows for that but perhaps in the future that's another offering for the membership.

Then again, there were lots of things which seemed silly to me. I
guess that's why I no longer attend the conferences. I only pay the
dues to reserve my ability to vote.

Right, only conference attendees can get the handouts for the conference.

Thanks Scott. Tried this but could not access it. I was not able to
go to this conference the logon says only people who registered for
the conference can access the presentations. My COMMON member
credentials did not work. I can get to the list of presentations but
can't get to any PDFs.
