I do not know that DECIMAL 15,5 is a limitation, as the length of a DECIMAL
value in CLP can be defined up to 31 (IIRC). If you think that is a
limitation, pass it as CHAR. It requires some MOVEs, but now you can pas 32
digits numeric without gargage.
