To be precise, SAVRST* commands do not use AnyNet capability, but they
require an APPC connection between both systems.
Up to V5R4 (V6R1 maybe but not sure), this APPC connection can make use
of AnyNet.
Starting at V5R4, this APPC connection can make use of
EnterpriseExtender (or HPR/IP).

AnyNet is no longer supported.
EnterpriseExtender is supported and is the good choice for running APPC
applications over IP.

Of course, a pure APPC connection can still work but, there are no
modern LAN IOA which support SNA protocol.
