I unblocked 8470 (the only blocked 847x port), yesterday, and cycled
Host Servers (*DATABASE), and 8471 (as-database) and 8478 (as-transfer)
promptly started listening.
SQuirreL SQL uses JDBC. Mine has a driver called "AS/400," and I have a
very vague recollection of having explicitly installed it. It doesn't,
unfortunately, say anything about itself, at least within SQuirreL.
There's also a driver called "JDBC ODBC Bridge" loaded, and a whole
bunch of other drivers that are listed, but not loaded, including "IBM
DB2 App Driver" and "IBM DB2 Net Driver."
