was indeed the issue ( It still seems a possibility to me)

I think this might be the case, Evan. We did an upgrade of the software and I can imagine some sort of magic entry being placed on the journal. Unfortunately, that entry (evidently) is gone from the receiver chain. But if it occurs again, I can use the CPF7064 Chuck mentioned to see if I can identify the failing entry.
