Re: DSPJRN OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) and resulting record length

The only notice of the error is a CPD7068 that occurs on the DSPJRN with no additional information. There's no record number information of any kind. Nothing in the records in the outfile tell me they failed, either, at least not that I can see. I would expect some sort of information either indicating the failing record, or in the failing record itself. No such luck.

Can you tell by the journal entry and then simply looking at the next
entry without using the utility? For example if you get
1 ...
2 ...
3 ...
error
with the utility then use OS supplied commands, like DSPJRN, to look
starting at sequence 3 and see if you can figure it out.
