Congratulations, James! You are a far more determined man than I. I'm
going to be having a few trepidations just replacing my battery pack - I
can't imagine deconstructing and reconstructing an entire expansion unit.

It's not that big a deal, and it's much easier than replacing the
*entire* expansion side.

With all hard drives and all books pulled:

Remove the six screws on the back of the book-cage, and the four
attaching it to the power supply, and *loosen* the four screws on the
top, and the book cage slides out the back. Unplug the cables, marking
where they plugged in.

Release the latch holding the bottom hard drive rack onto the power
supply, and remove it.

Remove the brown airflow partition from the front of the power supply.
Remove the two screws at the back, and the two screws at the front,
slide forward and remove.

And guess what? You've removed the guts of the expansion side. You
*could* unbolt the actual expansion side as well, but there's little
point in doing so, unless you're trying to turn a "fat" 200 back into
a "slim" 200.
