Never mind. It was easier to find than I'd thought: 2000 since V2R2,
according to the DB2 Database Programming book. I've got an experimental
version compiling right now (should be ready by a week from next Tuesday).
That does, however, beg the question of why, back in 1989, QV would have
been coded to put a brick wall after 99 bytes.
