Subject: SQL syntax

This is definitely not coded in the best manner. It does work.

I am wondering: 1) How to remove the multiple references of right(lpacct,4)
and,
2) Can this thing be expressed in a "cleaner"
manner.

Query:

SELECT DISTINCT right(lpacct,4) as seed FROM badplpp WHERE
right(lpacct,4) >= '7000' and right(lpacct,4) < '8000' and
right(lpacct,4) not in (select qsssec from bsysqsp where qsssec =
right(lpacct,4)) ORDER BY right(lpacct,4)

Thanks.
