No EIM is currently being done, in the last meeting to discuss this problem
the network guys discussed the possibility using EIM and Kerberos instead of
NTLM, but that will take a while to get implemented.
We are relying on the network guy when he tells us that the passwords
match - we tell him what password to use on the domain user id.
In the meantime, they have told us that it is against company policy (but
they gave us a temporary waiver) to use local accounts on the Windows
servers for our processes which utilize QNTC, so we are trying to get the
authentication problem against the domain account solved before the waiver
expires.
