Uhhhhh... so what are these Windows based products that are shipping with V7R1
lableled "Rational Developer for i" version 7.5 ???

This entire thread just confirms what I have been thinking for a while, nobody really
has a complete understanding of what IBM is doing.

I have NEVER known of IBM to change/modify a license agreement on any older products
and not providing the customer with the "next" or "upgraded" version of the product.

All of the thousands of customers that have/had/still have the old WDS(seu, pdm, sda, etc, etc)
are screwed by IBM ??? I find that hard to believe.

New Rational v8 development tools (replaces all previous versions of
Rational tools; they're no longer available):

for $860/seat. You can upgrade an existing ADTS license via Passport
Disadvantage for $665/user. Both include 1 year of support; support
is $177/user/year starting 2nd year.

5733-RDD - Includes all of RDG, plus Java, AIX, Linux, etc. Replaces
WDSc. $2740/seat. Includes 1 year of support; support costs
$548/year/seat starting in 2nd year. No trade-up available.
