RTC is a source control app built on the Jazz platform - something like Eclipse but for collaboration.

There is a website for the general package, there's an infocenter, and precious little on the i version, as Richard says.

I just have been working with a lab on RTC that IBM/Rational have - it's probably the one they give at COMMON and elsewhere. I'm having some issues running it, jobs not releasing is my issue today.

I've been in touch with folks that run the lab, they are being quite helpful, so I give a moderately-enthusiastic recommendation.

The link to the lab site, actually, Enterprise Modernization Sandbox, is http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/emsandbox_power/index.html

I'm working through things, it looks pretty cool. Rational position RTC as Collaborative Application Lifecycle Management - CALM.

The general link for RTC is http://www.ibm.com/software/rational/products/rtcp/

The infocenter is at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rtcihelp/v2r0/index.jsp

Is anyone here using Rational Team Concert for IBM I ?

I just saw an announcement for Version 3.0, but can find NO documentation
other than a slide that talks about Z support for ISPF which is the green
screen equivalent on the mainframe. Nice !! :-)

It releases on November 23rd, but after a year and a half of trying to
learn more about the toolset, we still have no insight on whether this is a
good source control tool for IBM i.

Anyone, Anyone. Bueller ?
