Subject: RE: Saving Spooled Files

And then it only saves spool files if you tell it to. The default on
SAVLIB etc is not to.
Spooled file data . . . . . . . *NONE *NONE, *ALL

Specifies whether to save spooled file data and attributes for output
queues that are saved.

*NONE
No spooled file data is saved.

*ALL
For each output queue that is saved, all available spooled file
data on the output queue is saved.

The money you'd spend on a third party product is better spent getting
to a supported release of the OS.
