Many moons ago I worked at a company where OpsNav on my PC had the bare minimum installation. Got permission from my boss (the manager) to get the whole enchilada. Trouble was the sysadmin was the keeper of the CD (no network install). He (and his assistant) quizzed me hard about Why I wanted everything. "Because I'm a @#$% programmer," I calmly replied. To which he replied, "Well, there's a security issue." I just stared at him until I said, "You haven't got a bloody clue."
