ohhh, a FSIOP....had one of those in my first AS/400 a model 400 running v3r6...

Basically, it was the original "PC on a Card", since replace
by/renamed to the Integrated Netfinity Server (INS), then the
Integrated xSeries Server (IxS)...

IIRC the original FSIOP could run Netware, or you could simply use it
as just an Ethernet adapter...which is what it looks like your box is
doing and that is also how I used mine. We got it instead of a plain
Ethernet adapter since at the time, it cost the same and we figured it
might be useful in the future.

Never did use it for anything but an Ethernet adapter.

The box has

The Network Inerface is strange to me :)
Resource  Type   Text
CC01  6506  File Server IOP
 LIN02  6520  LAN Adapter
  LIN021       6520  LAN Port

Also the CFGTCP, Opt 1 is

Line Desctiption FSIOPETH1 , Line Type *ELAN

When I check the Line Description FSIOPETH1, I see the rescource name as
*NWSD

Wow...  It's been ages since I worked with v3r2, but some questions leap
to mind.

Does that box have a network adapter (Ethernet)?
Do you have the TCP/IP licensed product?  I seem to recall that we had
to pay for it...
Are your users enrolled in OfficeVision?  (See WRKDIRE)

TCP/IP was not an integrated feature in the early days, but I can't
recall when that changed.  V3R2 was a big release, with lots of new
features, so perhaps this is when TCP/IP became an OS feature.
