Not ALL 3rd party software pricing policies do this.
We have NEVER charged extra to load our software on more then one partition.
All of our software is licensed to a serial number and if you are under
software support and maintenance there is no charge when you upgrade your
hardware.

So I would recommend companies look into these type of pricing policies
before they purchase. If enough companies would stop purchasing software
with those types of pricing policies you will see a change.

Don't forget the equally-long rant about 3rd party software pricing
policies! More than 1 partition and the prices are charged per
partition! (:

How cheap is 'really cheap? I'm thinking of something for personal
use/experimentation.
